Von Rae started with
unused space, a bold idea,
and a very clear purpose

For three years, we had 6,000 square feet of unused space and a lot of questions about what it could become.

Then one appointment changed everything.

After visiting a salon suite for a brow appointment, I realized how many beauty professionals were paying high weekly rates for small spaces — and how much opportunity there was to create something better. A place with more privacy. More polish. A stronger location. More support. And a business model that gave providers the freedom to build their own brand without taking on the overhead of owning an entire building.

That idea became Von Rae.

It took three banks, three builders, two designers, and a lot of persistence to bring it to life. But in February 2026, Von Rae opened its doors as a boutique destination for independent beauty and wellness professionals in Sioux Falls.

Today, it exists for providers who are ready to be seen, respected, and supported as business owners.

Named with legacy in mind

The name Von Rae carries personal meaning.

"Von" honors Deb's mom, LaVonne, who passed away in 2008. She was one of the strongest women Deb has ever known.

"Rae" honors Deb's husband's grandmother, a woman Deb never had the chance to meet but has often been told she resembles in spirit and presence.

Together, Von Rae represents strength, beauty, legacy, and the courage to build something meaningful.

It is a name rooted in women who left an impression — and a space created for women and professionals who are ready to leave their own.
